Backflow Testing in Sleepy Hollow, NY — $75 Flat Rate

Sleepy Hollow's legend is centuries old — and so are many of its homes, from the streets near Philipsburg Manor to the village's historic districts. Older plumbing plus modern irrigation is exactly the combination New York State's annual backflow testing law was written for: every device tested yearly by a certified tester, with proof filed. Guardian Backflow Testing LLC does the whole job for a $75 flat rate — the test, the NYS certification, and filing with your water supplier. Thirty-five-plus years of experience and ABPA membership, serving the Rivertowns with careful, respectful work in older homes.

Sleepy Hollow's centuries-old homes — from the streets near Philipsburg Manor to the village's historic districts — often have aging service lines with backflow preventers retrofitted in later. Add the village's inns and tourism businesses, and there's a lot of annual testing to keep up with. New York State requires every device tested yearly by a certified tester, with proof filed. Guardian Backflow Testing LLC, an ABPA member with 35+ years of experience, handles Sleepy Hollow's historic properties for a $75 flat rate — with the careful, respectful work older homes deserve.

We arrive on time and run the full NYS-required test with calibrated gauges — every check valve and relief valve, done properly. You get the signed NYS certification paperwork, and we file the report directly with your water supplier. A copy is emailed to you the same day for your records. The test, the certification, and the filing — all included for one $75 flat rate.

Testing in a historic Sleepy Hollow home means working around stone foundations, low basement ceilings, and retrofit assemblies squeezed into tight corners — and we do it every day. The test itself is non-invasive: we attach gauges to the device's test ports, run the checks, and remove them. As an NYS-certified tester with 35+ years of experience, we treat your historic home with care and leave zero disruption behind.

Under NYS Sanitary Code 5-1.31, every backflow preventer must be tested annually by a certified tester, with proof filed to your water supplier. Sleepy Hollow homeowners and businesses file that proof every year — and missing it can bring penalties. We make compliance effortless: the $75 flat rate covers the certified test, the NYS paperwork, and direct filing with your supplier.

In the Rivertowns, backflow testing typically costs $150 to $250 — sometimes more with trip fees or filing surcharges. Our price is $75 flat per test, for homes, inns, and businesses alike. No hidden fees, no surprises: the certified test, NYS paperwork, and supplier filing are all included. One straightforward price from a licensed, insured, ABPA-member tester with 35+ years of experience.
